About MissionMed
MissionMed is a student-led nonprofit fiscally sponsored through HCB, dedicated to inspiring and empowering young minds with a passion for medicine. Through healthcare-focused camps and community initiatives, we provide students with engaging, hands-on experiences that introduce them to the world of medicine. Participants have the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals, explore a variety of medical specialties, and develop practical skills in a simulated medical environment. Beyond education, MissionMed is committed to giving back through community service, outreach, and care package initiatives.
Our Story
MissionMed was founded in early 2025 by two high schoolers, Chahel Mor and Pranavi Musuku who shared a passion for healthcare and a desire to make a difference in their community. They noticed that many kids didn’t have access to fun, hands-on opportunities to learn about the human body, medicine, and health careers—so they decided to create one.
What started as a small idea quickly grew into a youth-led nonprofit that has hosted successful camps and workshops, inspiring students through creative activities like brain caps, X-ray crafts, and anatomy games. MissionMed is now a growing movement that empowers the next generation to explore medicine, learn new skills, and give back to their community—one event at a time.
